Editable book and letter for students for the night before second grade begins!

Here is a book for students to read to help with those jitters the night before the first day of school. There is a letter for the student to sprinkle some magic glitter under their pillow and make a wish for the school year. This magic glitter will help take those jitters away for a good night's sleep! You can use just the book, just the letter or both!!

This product includes a word doc and a link to Google Slides to edit the book if you wish to change the grade or some wording to make it more personal.

Included is both a printed and digital version (link to Google slides) for a follow-up lesson on the first day of school. This lesson goes with the book This School Year Will Be the Best by Kay Winters. Students will write and illustrate their wish for the school year. In the digital version, they add their photo and write their wish.
